Resolved Question: Health Question — Iron PIlls.?

Ok, so I go to the doctor once a year to get blood work done. Blood pressure, cholesterol and anemia.
Question is - At first I was taking Iron pills, 3 a day. I got my blood work done 6 months later and my anemia was ok. She said keep taking them.
Now the fun part - 2 months BEFORE my next blood work I stopped taking the iron pills. Got blood work back and I was STILL fine.
What would of happened if I would of KEPT ON taking these Iron pills, which in fact I did NOT need???

I guess this also can go with Flaxseed Oil, what would happen if I keep taking them when in fact I do not need them anymore??
