I am for some reason nervous that I am ?? my periods are on average every 24 days, they might be a little shorter now but I have been told my my doc that I am probably getting ovarian cyst b.c of pain and fluid around my ovaries. I also have have major digestive issues for the past 8 months I do get night sweats but I am not sure if its b.c its hot in my room also my mom is going through menopause @ 55. Does this sound like pre-menopause to anyone, or do I sound like a candidate?
I am a man.
But I have a question about menopause.
My stepmother has been having abdominal pain.
Her Dr. has said it is because of the eggs in her ovaries.
I thought once menopause, She no longer produces eggs.
Is this true or not?
Um, I am a college grad and have had my share of intellectual conversations. But. I have watched this show since the beginning and I already think Christian could be doing other things, like making this show into a movie. I mean Lord have mercy-a man or is he-spy/husband or is he? By the time it is over my mind is as scrambled as his so tonight I am watching CSI: Miami, it doesn’t require me to think that much. I have felt the same way about other shows, like ‘The West Wing’ but I became submerged in the political process, I may not of understood every word (chemo and menopause both cause malfunctioning thought processes). I suppose I could record Christian but I have a tendency to forget I recorded it, and if I recall I recorded something I won’t remember what it was, or if I’ve seen it before….anyone else tired of overly brilliant tv?

A woman close to me is having a lot of trouble coming up with simple words even if she is even staring right at an object. She wants to say ‘thing’ and ’stuff’ all of the time. It’s not like she can’t remember it, she can think of the first letter and knows what it is and why she wants to use the word, but she just can’t think of i unless she really concentrates for 10 seconds. She also has trouble spelling even simple words.
There is no memory loss, but when stressed she can get emotional and flustered.
She is menopausal, but menopause isn’t complete yet. There are 3 benign cysts on her uterus.
Her doctor wants her to have a hysterectomy, but she doesn’t want it because she’s afraid it will change her personality.
She takes antidepressants and her doctors have switched her through a dozen medications over the last two years and she’s really frustrated because nothing is helping and there are no clear answers. Everyone says it’s just menopause, but it’s been going on for 3-5 years. There is a history of Alzheimer’s in the family and that’s a big elephant in the room.
Good advice has been hard to come by, some doctors are recommending she pursue disability for age-related dementia, but she still wants to work and another doctor says she wouldn’t get disability for that.
It’s a maddening situation and any advice any of you would have would be a big help.
Thanks in advance.
tubal ligation 8 years ago. I am 30. have had 4 pregnancies all started with the same symptoms. I am know have those symptoms again. I took a home test it came back negative. Did not miss my period this month, but it was 2 weeks early, which never happens to me, it is always regular. Could it be menopause symptoms, even though i am still young and not have hot flashes.
I’m a 41yo woman. Lately, much to my chagrin, I’ve been feeling a sort of hypermasculinity. I also have acne along my jawline, which I’ve read can indicate an excess of androgens. Could both of these things be indicative of menopause? Are there any natural, vegan, non-hormonal remedies?
