When women have their period, I know they shed their uterus lining, but do we also shed the eggs? I have checked websites and they only said stuff about the uterus lining. And, one website said, one egg from the ovaries will travel to the uterus, and then when it’s not fertilized, we shed our uterus lining, but if we shed the eggs too, does that mean we only shed 1 egg?
I have always thought we shed our eggs…and thats why women have menopause because they have no more eggs or something. I’m 14 and don’t have a mom to ask.
ok…no other websites said the egg would come out so I was confused for a little bit. But one website said only 1 egg travels to the uterus, and then we shed our lining, but do we only shed 1 egg or more than one? I thought we shed more than 1.
